We have reserved a block of rooms from Thursday, October 3, to Sunday, October 6th. Our group rate per night is $145.00 plus 7% state tax and 12% hotel/motel tax.

REUNION EVENTS
Friday, October 4, 2019
6 pm – 10 pm: Party at the Cub Club Restaurant at Principal Park
6 pm: Class Picture will be taken
We will have a Ball Park Dinner Buffet. Cost per person $30. Those staying at the Marriott can be shuttled to the ball park. Casual Attire.
Saturday, October 5, 2019
The Marriott does not provide breakfast with your room, but there is a restaurant on the second floor that is open for breakfast.
Another option is to walk two blocks south of the hotel to the Downtown Farmers Market. It opens at 7 am and runs until noon.
The Farmers Market supports 300 family farmers, bakers, artists, and crafters from around the state, and averages 20,000 visitors each Saturday. It spans nine city blocks in the Historic Court Avenue District.

10 am: TOUR OF ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL
(we may be able to have the Marriott shuttle take those staying at the hotel to Roosevelt)
11:30 am: LUNCH
Those that are interested can go to lunch at a restaurant on Ingersoll. You will order off the menu and pay for your own lunch.
6 pm – 10 pm: DINNER AT THE DES MOINES EMBASSY CLUB, 33RD FLOOR
Take in the spectacular panoramic views of the city and State Capitol complex from atop the Ruan Building. Those of you staying at the Marriott can just walk across the street. The Club is within walking distance for the other hotels downtown. Cost per person $60. Dressy Casual Attire (men do not need jacket and tie).
